REMEDIAL MASSAGE

Option 1:

Remedial Massage is about getting results. In this competitive environment we need all the help we can get. Applied Myoskeletal Soft-Tissue Therapy (AMT) offers the Remedial Massage Therapist the perfect tools to quickly and easily correct a client’s leg lengths, pelvic tilt and pelvic rotations, along with many more presentations. This can be achieved easily in the first five minutes of your treatment and then you can proceed with your normal massage, with the exception that now your work will be a lot easier and more productive with your pre-massage global corrections performed. (Global in this context is muscles that have a referred pattern of dysfunction that affect gait and cause pain to multiple sites of the body.) You then have the option of giving the client a take home, Neuromuscular Re-education Exercise to break the muscle memory cycle, aiding in long-term recovery.

Option 2:

Why not offer your clients an alternative to Remedial Massage?  AMT will often attract a different type of person to your remedial massage clients and will help you grow your business, while providing you with an additional therapy that is easy on the Therapist’s body. This will allow you to work more hours without burnout, and promote longevity in your profession.
